Regular Work
Maybe you need someone once a week, to do the bank rec, chase some debtors and once a month for accounts, and once a quarter for the BAS. This kind of work is the bread and butter of my business.

Short Term Work
A long term bookkeeper on maternity leave or long service leave, or whatever. This can be a good place for us to fill in and be your spare hand.

Project Work
Sometimes there is a specific Project that someone needs done, a review of a budget, a development of a proposal, whatever it is, I am happy to look at the work.

Newcastle
I am really glad I live in Newcastle, big enough to be interesting, and small enough to care. The entrepreneurial qualities of our business people, combined with ingenuity and quality of lifestyle seem to hit a balance often lost in the big smoke.

Occasional Work
Ad hoc short term projects and one-off relief work is charged at $60.00 per hour. This is the basic rate and is competitive for short term work.

Medium Term Work
Medium Term Work, in excess of 10 hours a month for more than two months, will be charged at $45.00 per hour.

Longer Term Projects
Longer Term Projects and ongoing routine work (more than 10 hours per month) will be charged at $40.00 per hour.

Other Options
There are going to be lots of other needs that will have some variation on these rates, which are a general guideline of how the charging works. Each contract is specific and I will discuss your needs and agree on a rate.

Out of Hours
I am prepared to work out of hours when required, however this may attract a 25% premium.

Why not?
In the practical world of business there is a cost and a benefit. As an experienced and focussed bookkeeper I am used to doing these things more quickly than many business owners could, just as I could not do what they do as quickly as they do it. The cost is an important part of the equation; the benefit will be more time for what you do, or more time to have a life.
